Yoga is the artwork of awareness on the canvas of body, mind and soul.
On April 13, 2024, Delhi Public School, Jaipur, hosted an enlightening event titled "Heartfulness - The Art of Self-Realisation" for middle school students. The event aimed to introduce students to the practice of yoga and meditation, while imparting valuable lessons on self-realisation and inner growth.
The event commenced with a warm welcome extended to the guest, Mr. Ankit Tak, an experienced yoga instructor, who was presented with a planter as a token of appreciation by the Headmistress, Dr. Navita Chandak. Mr. Tak, a seasoned practitioner, began the session by introducing the children to the benefits of yoga. He conducted an engaging session on yoga, guiding the children through warm-up exercises, various asanas, and breathing practices. Emphasizing the importance of flexibility in yoga, Mr. Tak led the children in a meditation session to promote mindfulness and inner peace.
After the yoga session, Dr. Richa Prakash, the Principal of Delhi Public School, Jaipur, delivered an uplifting address. Dr. Prakash shared motivational stories and verses encouraging the students to explore their inner selves and strive for self-realisation.
The event concluded with a heartfelt address by the Headmistress Dr. Navita Chandak. She urged the students to apply the teachings they had received during the event in their daily lives. She emphasized the importance of self-confidence and encouraged the students to embrace personal growth and development.
