We at ‘Pravah- a skill development centre’ believe in creating skilled entrepreneurs who consistently work to make a difference in the society.

‘Pravah’ is the initiative by Mala Jaipuria Foundation in the campus of Delhi Public School, Jaipur. It was inaugurated by Ms. Dhara Jaipuria, Pro Vice chairperson, DPS Jaipur, on April 23, 2015 with a total of 127 trainees registered under various courses and the number of trainees have reached over 400 in 2020.

The motive to start this community service programme is to make a real difference in the lives of our not so privileged youth. To build their self-confidence, to give them an opportunity to be independent and to be able to support themselves.

Courses like Beauty Culture, Electrical works, Weaving and Tailoring, Basics of Technology and Computer Hardware, are offered and training is given by professionals. The sessions are conducted in the morning and in the evening. Students are also provided transportation and complimentary refreshment.

Our students make us proud with fantastic placements every year. It is certainly a dream come true when we see our students placed with renowned Beauty Salons like L’Oréal and Lakme. Some get placed with the Insurance Sector and many more work as the back office staff with various schools and Corporate Houses.

The zeal and zest of the entrepreneurs and professionals is infectious. After all, being skilled is truly a blessing in the current scenario. A skilled individual is sure to go places and we at ‘Pravah’ assure that.
