Represented India in the Davis Cup for over 8 years and was team member that reached the Davis Cup Final in 1987 and Semi Finals in 1992.

 Represented India in the Olympic Games in Seoul in 1988.

Winner of Gold Medal in the 1994 Asian Games.

Winner of Bronze Medal in the 1990 Asian Games.

Winner of 7 Men’s Singles and 4 Doubles National Championship and is India’s youngest Men’s National Champion.

Highest ATP ranking of 126 in Singles and 145 in Doubles.

Ranked World Number 2 and Number 1 in Asia in the Juniors.

Won Asian Junior Singles Championship, reached Finals of the Junior US Open Doubles and Semi Finals at Junior Wimbledon Singles. Won 12 ITF Junior Championships in 1986.

Played in Grand Slam events like Wimbledon, US Open and the French Open.

Captain/Coach of the Indian Tennis Team at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Coach of the Pune Team that won the Champions Tennis League in November 2014.

Holder of the USPTR Tennis Coach Certification of "Professional", the highest certification given by the United States Professional Tennis Registry in coaching.

National and Davis Cup coach of the UAE from 2006 to 2009.

With Coaching experience of over 26 years in different parts of the world, Zeeshan has worked with top International Men’s and Women’s tennis players like Martina Hingis, Leander Paes, Sania Mirza and Alexi Popyrin (Currently ranked 61 in ATP) . 

Zeeshan over the years has also been a hitting partner to Roger Federer, Venus Williams, Marcos Baghdatis, Jennifer Capriati, Anna Kournikova, Anna Ivanovic and Mary Pierce.

Since his return to India in 2012 from the US and Dubai, Zeeshan has produced players who have been on the Indian Davis Cup Team and many National Champions in different age groups.

Awards :-

In 2014 Zeeshan received the Dhyan Chand Award from the President of India for Lifetime Achievement and contribution to the sport in India.

In 2011 Zeeshan was awarded The Mother Teresa International Sports Award for contribution to tennis in India.

In 2015, Zeeshan received the award of Bengal’s Pride from West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee.
