Activity- Exploring Feelings
On November 22 2024, the students of Pre-Nursery-II at DPS, Jaipur, participated in an engaging activity, "Exploring Feelings", which featured an interactive storytelling session titled " A Magical Journey Through Feelings" led by Peer Educators.
The young learners arrived wearing colourful headgears they had decorated, sparking curiosity and anticipation. The Peer Educators captivated the students with a visually stunning and interactive story, enhanced by dynamic lights and sound effects. Through the character Aman and 'The Feelings Guide,' the storytelling brought emotions to life.
Following the storytelling, students participated in age-appropriate reflection activities including crafting emoji faces with clay, sorting emotion-themed pictures, matching feelings to scenarios with the support of a daily 'Feeling Meter' for emotional check-ins, 'Feeling Feather' activity and 'Freehand Painting' in nature to learn about the benefits of creative expression.
These activities helped the students become more aware of their emotions, express themselves better and think more deeply about their feelings.
