‘To every child — you hold the promise for a brighter future, and the world is in need of your light.’
With the motive of making the Children’s Day special, a visit to the Albert Hall Museum was planned for the students of Grades VI – VIII on November 14, 2024. The primary objective of the visit was to give students a deeper understanding of cultural heritage, art, and history of Rajasthan, in a real-world setting.
The students were greeted by the grand and majestic architecture of the building. The trip allowed them to see firsthand the magnificent artefacts, artillery, jewellery, paintings etc put up on display in the museum. The icing on the cake was the mummy, preserved for centuries, which was enough to make them feel amazed.
The visit to the museum was a resounding success, designed to enhance the students' learning beyond textbooks, fostering a sense of appreciation for art, history, and heritage. The trip was not only educational but also fun and inspiring, helping students develop a greater interest in history, art, and cultural studies. The students left the museum with a sense of pride in their cultural heritage and a deeper understanding of the importance of preserving our history for future generations.
