Delhi Public School Jaipur organized a three-days’ online teachers training on Mental Wellness Workshop. The resource person Ms. Alka Bakaya from the Health & Strength Initiatives, presented a customized module and effectively inspired the teachers through engaging activities and practical strategies, fostering a deeper understanding and commitment to mental wellness.
The workshop aimed to enhance teachers' understanding of mental well-being, develop emotional intelligence, and equip them with skills to address mental health issues. Through activities such as breathing exercises, feedback sandwich, and emotions wheel role play, participants learned strategies for stress reduction, positive communication, problem-solving, and self-awareness. The sessions successfully provided tools to reduce stress among teachers, parents, and students, and a mental health booklet was distributed as a reference for future use. Teachers were highly motivated to incorporate these activities into their classrooms, finding the workshop an enriching and impactful experience that promoted a supportive learning environment.
