An Inter-House Quiz Competition for middle school students was held at Delhi Public School Jaipur on 8th May 2024. The event was conducted by Ms. Veenu and Ms. Rashmi Soral, who served as the Quiz Masters for the competition.
The competition commenced with an introduction of the participating teams, followed by a briefing on the rules of the competition.
The quiz comprised of four rounds covering topics related to flora, fauna, national parks,wildlife sanctuaries,water bodies of India, famous women personalities,fairs, festivals of India and the Indian national movement. Each round tested the students' knowledge and quick thinking abilities.
In addition to the main rounds, there was also a special quiz round for students in the audience, providing an opportunity for all to participate and showcase their knowledge.
After the quiz rounds, the Principal Dr. Richa Prakash addressed the audience and shared reflections on the importance of increasing knowledge. She emphasized on the significance of reading newspapers, books, and engaging in discussions as effective means to broaden one's knowledge base.
Finally, the results of the activity were announced by the Principal. Raavi House secured the first position, while the second and third positions were secured by Yamuna and Chenab respectively.
The Inter-House Quiz Competition was a resounding success, showcasing the students' intellect and enthusiasm for learning, and fostering a spirit of healthy competition among the participants.
