REPORT - CLASS VII B ASSEMBLY THEME - RABINDRANATH TAGORE JAYANTI "
Let your life lightly dance on the edges of Time like dew on the tip of a leaf." - Rabindranath Tagore On the morning of 7th May 2024, Grade VII B conducted a class assembly with the theme centered around Rabindranath Tagore. The assembly began with a serene morning prayer, setting a reflective mood for the proceedings. Following the prayer, the students presented the morning news, covering international affairs, national updates, sports highlights, weather forecasts, and school news, providing a comprehensive overview of current events. A student delivered a captivating speech in English, shedding light on the life and contributions of Rabindranath Tagore. This was followed by a poignant Bengali song, Ekla Chalo Re celebrating the literary genius of Tagore. One of the highlights of the assembly was a beautifully crafted skit, portraying scenes from Tagore's life and his impact on Indian literature and culture. Continuing with the theme, students shared their thoughts in five different languages - English, Hindi, French, German, and Sanskrit, emphasizing the universality of Tagore's message and the diversity of his influence. The assembly concluded with an address by the principal, commending the efforts of the students in organizing and presenting such an informative and culturally rich assembly. The principal encouraged the students to continue exploring the works of Tagore and other influential figures in literature and history. In a fitting end, the national anthem was sung by all, symbolizing unity and pride in our nation's heritage. The assembly served as a tribute to Rabindranath Tagore, showcasing his timeless relevance and inspiring the students to delve deeper into the world of literature and art.
