Rhythmica-2024 An Inter House Music and Dance Competition was held in Delhi Public School, Jaipur on May 01, 2024 with a profound focus on the contributions of women throughout history. Through mesmerizing dance performances and soul-stirring melodies, participants from six houses of the school paid homage to the resilience, creativity, and spirit of women across different eras.
The music segment of the competition revolved around the theme of "Women Icons & Renaissance." Participants showcased their talent through songs that highlighted various aspects of women's lives, struggles, and achievements. From classical compositions to contemporary tunes, each performance captured the essence of womanhood with finesse and passion.
In the dance segment, participants transported the audience through time, exploring the Mughal, Bhakti, and Modern eras. Through intricate choreography and captivating storytelling, dancers depicted the grace and grandeur of the Mughal courts, the devotion and spirituality of the Bhakti movement, and the vibrancy and dynamism of Modern dance forms.

With reverence for the dedication and skill demonstrated by each participant, the Principal, Dr. Richa Prakash Ghosh congratulated the students for the captivating display of talent and artistry. She emphasized on the importance of recognizing and honouring the contributions of women and their enduring legacy. Amidst the excitement, the principal announced the winners of the music and dance competition.
In Song competition Raavi house bagged the first place followed by Ganga house and Yamuna house in second and third place respectively. In Dance competition there was a tie for first place between Jhelum house & Raavi house while Chenab house and Yamuna house bagged the second and third place respectively. Each winning team was met with cheers and applause, underscoring the collective appreciation for the talent and hard work showcased on stage.
