Topic: Teaching third language effectively

Teachers from Delhi Public School, Jaipur were invited to conduct workshops at Central Sanskrit University, Jaipur on February 20 & 21, 2024.
Mr. Kamalnayan and Ms. Priyanka Singh from DPS, Jaipur conducted hour-long workshops on two separate days, each sharing their best practices and strategies in teaching a third language effectively. The audience included teachers from Sanskrit Schools across Rajasthan.
The two session leaders from DPS, Jaipur showcased methods and approaches that can be used to create immersive learning experiences in the classroom. These included incorporating technology, role plays, art integrated activities, storytelling, debates, street plays, and group exercises to encourage active participation and comprehension among students.
Teachers were also briefed about the use of TLMs and how to create them using readily available material to create a positive and enjoyable learning environment in educational practices.
The creative activities and innovative teaching methods shared during the workshop will surely add on to the existing practices in making language learning an engaging and rewarding experience for both teachers and students.
