To provide skill-based training to the students and to help them strengthen their personalities, Delhi Public School Jaipur, organised orientation sessions for the SkillSphere In-School Programs for the students on Saturday, 17th February, 2024.
Ms. Sonali Ghodke, Senior Manager for Content Development at SkillSphere Education Headquarters Mumbai, conducted the sessions for the students of Grades IV -VIII.
An acronym for Leadership, Enterprise, Awareness and Diplomacy, ‘LEAD’ program for the students of Grades IV-V focuses on the skills of public speaking, problem solving, critical thinking, general awareness, ideation, and a range of other skills.
‘Indiation’ is another highly successful programme for the students of Grades VI and VII. It includes a range of modules ensuring development of skills such as public speaking, teamwork, leadership, problem solving and decision making. Glimpses of quizzes and activities were taken on the spot by Ms. Sonali to brief the students about the benefits of these programs.
‘Enlighten MUN’, meant for the students of Grades VIII-IX uses Model UNs as a mode for essential soft skill development, thereby orienting students to participate with the correct approach in Model UNs. It culminates with a full-fledged MUN simulation in which all these skills and MUN trainings are put to test.
Principal Dr Richa Prakash Ghosh encouraged the students to work on their skills of public speaking, leadership, critical thinking by participating actively in the programs offered at school.
