Understanding the need to make students aware of road safety and realise the importance of following traffic rules, class VII students put up an assembly on the theme ‘Road Safety’ on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 in the presence of Principal, Dr. Richa Prakash, and Headmistress, Dr. Navita Chandak, teachers and students of classes VI-VIII.
The event commenced with the news updates from all over the world and later showcased the skills of students through their speeches, poems and safety tips as road users. Some tips to handle the approaching exams with ease, were also shared. The highlight of the show was the ‘Nukkad Natak’ spreading a word of being vigilant while walking and driving on the roads.
After the presentations, Principal, Dr. Richa Prakash, and Headmistress, Dr. Navita Chandak felicitated the winners of the Intach Filmit Festival and the Olympiad Exam toppers, who were appreciated and applauded for their achievement by all present.
At the end, it was reiterated that adherence to traffic rules is not just a legal obligation, but a moral imperative. By championing road safety, we contribute to the well-being of ourselves, our fellow travellers, and the community at large.
