A Christmas and New Year special assembly 'WINTERLUDE' was held at Delhi Public School Jaipur on December 22, 2023, for classes 6 to 8, in the gracious presence of the Principal, Dr. Richa Prakash and Headmistress, Dr.Navita Chandak.
The assembly began with a heartwarming rendition of Christmas Carols, filling the hall with joy and anticipation. The program unfolded with a series of engaging activities. The news segment, provided a blend of current affairs and seasonal updates. The assembly continued with the Thought of the Day, where students shared insightful reflections in all the five languages namely Hindi, English, Sanskrit, French and German. This was followed by the English and Hindi speech presented by Class 8B students. Following this, the students of Grade 8C captivated the audience with the recitation of an enchanting English poem, showcasing their linguistic finesse. The highlight of the event was the grand Christmas Musical, featuring enchanting choir performances and a mesmerizing group dance. As the festivities reached their peak, a contagious Christmas cheer swept through the audience.
The Principal, Dr. Richa Prakash, in her address, expressed gratitude for the enthusiastic participation and emphasized the spirit of togetherness during the holiday season.
The assembly concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, a group photograph and the national anthem in the end. The Special Assembly on Christmas theme left an indelible mark, fostering a sense of joy, camaraderie, and festive spirit among students, teachers, and staff alike.
