Delhi Public School, Jaipur, initiated 'Daanutsav,' a charitable donation drive where students and teachers alike contributed by donating essential items like rice, oil, soap, spices, toothpastes, biscuits, tea and stationary items. On 22nd December 2023, the collective donations were then presented to 'Naya Sawera,' a home catering to underprivileged children. The experience of giving brought immense joy, leaving a profound and lasting impact on all participants.
Witnessing the happiness and playfulness of the children at 'Naya Savera,' despite the challenges they had faced, was heartwarming. This visit prompted deep reflection on the significance of social responsibility and the substantial impact that small acts of kindness can have on the lives of others. 'Daanutsav' not only provided essential resources to those in need but also underscored the power of compassion and community involvement in creating positive change.
Principal Dr Richa Prakash Ghosh appreciated the noble approach of students and emphasized on developing the habit of caring and sharing at all times.
