Life is also a mixed bag of joy and sadness and on December 21,2023 Delhi Public School, Jaipur witnessed this when it organised a Farewell to bid adieu to its batch of 2023-24 to wish them good luck as the students embark on new chapters in their lives hoping that they will carry with them the values instilled during these crucial years.
The event commenced with a beautiful dance performance by Grade XI followed by many melodious intervals and funny breaks. A power point presentation was displayed that incorporated all the glorious years and memories that they created in the premises of DPS, Jaipur.
The Head girl, Tanisha Ghanti and Head-boy Ayushman Singh Shekhawat in their farewell address talked about the time spent in school that has been nothing short of a remarkable journey ,filled with growth, learning, and unforgettable moments. They said that from spirited sports events to engaging cultural festivals, the memories created within the walls of DPS, Jaipur will forever hold a special place in their hearts.
In her address to the students of the outgoing batch, the school Principal Dr Richa Prakash offered her best wishes for a future filled with success, joy, and meaningful contributions to society. She told them that their achievements will be a testament to the exceptional standards upheld and suggested that they should keep visiting their Alma mater as often as they can and help to fuel curiosity in their juniors.
She bestowed praises on grade XI students who had organised such a wonderful show for their seniors. She also congratulated the dedicated faculty members who have not only imparted knowledge but have also served as mentors and guides and played a pivotal role in shaping the future of the outgoing students.
The farewell ceremony ended with a promise that laughter, camaraderie, and shared experiences will form bonds among students and will lay the foundation of enduring friendships for all the years to come.
