Ms.Preeti Nautiyal and Ms Minni Verma from the Visual Art Department Delhi Public School, Jaipur attended a one-day lecture cum workshop on craft and design on December 14, organized by the Indian Institute of Craft and Design , Jaipur. Dr. Tulika Gupta the director of IICD, served as the resource person delivering a lecture on design thinking and Indian handicrafts in the context of the New Education Policy 2020.
The main aim of the lecture was to establish an education system deeply rooted in Indian ethos, contributing to the transformation of India into an equitable and vibrant knowledge society. Emphasizing holistic, integrated, enjoyable, and engaging learning experiences, the policy advocates for meaningful education that fosters critical thinking and experiential learning.
