Festivities Galore: Celebration in Classes Pre-Nursery -II

 

Every diya that lights up the world lights up every heart with joy".

Festivals are a time for celebrations, prayers and bonding, a time to dispel the darkness of ignorance within us and replace it with the light of hope and knowledge and embark on the journey of goodness and faith.

DPS Jaipur celebrated the activity 'Festivities Galore-Diwali Celebration" with our little ones in classes Pre-Nur- II in a unique way on Thursday, November 9, 2023, wherein our students were involved in creative and innovative activities that highlighted the importance of environment-friendly and sustainable ways of celebrating the 'Festival of Lights'.

The Pre-Nursery children made eco-friendly diyas with dough and decorated their handmade diyas with gorgeous decorative items. The diyas shone brightly! Class Nursery made sustainable paper plate rangolis and decorated those with exciting patterns; students of class Prep decorated the diyas with beautiful colours, paper and other decorative objects that showed the splendour of the festival.

The students of Class 1 made lanterns using paper cups and decorated them with glitter and colourful ribbons and Class 2 students showed the spirit of Diwali by making a Diwali card and alluring rangoli designs with eco-friendly items.

The celebration in these classes conveyed the message of a green, clean, pollution-free and peaceful Diwali, highlighting the significance of a safe and eco- friendly celebration and promoting sustainability, a sense of cooperation and togetherness.
