Picnics play a crucial role in fostering social skills, physical activity and appreciation for nature while creating lasting bonds between friends and teachers.
Delhi Public School Jaipur, organized a picnic to the 'City Park' for the students of Classes 1 and 2 on Monday, October 30, 2023.
The highlight of the picnic was the array of games that kept the children engaged and entertained throughout the day. Fostering teamwork and collaboration, they played rainbow ring, passing the parcel, dumb charades, caterpillar race, red light- green light race.
This was followed by a lively game where the kids demonstrated their agility and speed, running through the open pastures.
After a morning filled with games, it was time for a well-deserved break wherein they shared the special snacks they had brought for the picnic and sipped fruit juice and relished chocolate muffins and cookies.
The picnic also offered the kids an opportunity to connect with nature. They explored the surroundings and observed nature in its full glory and appreciating the beauty of the outdoors.
The day was a delightful blend of fun and frolic and helped the children create cherished and everlasting memories.
