INTERHOUSE PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION “FLASH”
The Annual inter-house photography competition was held on Thursday, August 24, 2023 for the students of grades 6-8. The theme for the competition was “INCREDIBLE INDIA”. The judgement criteria included technical skills, originality, emotional impact, relevance to the theme and an amalgamation of the rich culture and diversity of India. Six best pictures were selected by each of the six houses masters from their respective houses and given for judgement. The judges for the competition were Mr Anil Khubani, a professional photographer and Mr Surendra Verma, an avid traveller, nature lover and a photographer. The two judges pondered over each photograph, discussed and then gave their judgement. They even called a few students from their classes to quiz them regarding the technical details and were quite happy and satisfied when the children were able to answer to their queries confidently. The first place was bagged by Anshul Sharma 7A, Raavi House. The second by Abhiraj Saha 8C, Ganga House and third by Aaradhya Sharma 6A, Ganga House. The overall First Position went to Raavi House, Second to Jhelum House and Third Ganga House.The inter house photography competition was a great success. It was a great opportunity for the students to showcase their creativity and technical skills. It also helped to promote a sense of community and camaraderie among the students.
