2-day German Orientation Session
“Learning is a treasure which will follow its owner everywhere."
To enhance the treasure of learning, there was a 2-day German Orientation Session which was conducted at Delhi Public School, Jaipur for the German students. There were delegates from Goethe-Institut, Max Mueller Bhavan, New Delhi, Ms Mohita Miglani (Project Manager, Goethe-Institut), Ms Garima Sharma (Masters in German Translation from JNU) and Ms Hannah Tanhaef (Masters in special needs education from Germany).
It started with a session about the Higher education system in Germany.
In the second session, the students were shown two short films.
The last session was about the festivities and celebrations in Germany in which the students learnt about many carnivals, fun-fests and festivals of Germany.
The interactive session had various games like- limbo and Mein rechter, rechter Sitz ist frei-which are usually played in the country as well. The students also got an opportunity to dance on the beats of German music , learnt about the cuisines of Germany, famous tourist spots that left the students mesmerised.
