An orientation programme for class VI and the new parents for classes VI to VIII was conducted by Delhi Public School, Jaipur on Friday, March 17, 2023
It was quite an interactive session wherein the parents were familiarized with the teachers as well as the environment their ward will soon be walking into.
The Principal, Dr. Richa Prakash Ghosh congratulated and motivated the students. She asked them to pursue their dreams as well as use the enormous facilities provided by the school. She also said that the school is a sum of students, teachers and parents.
The Headmistress Middle School, Dr. Navita Chandak warmly welcomed the parents and assured them of the school’s commitment in ensuring their child’s growth and development. She also introduced the middle school team members to the parents.
Parents were apprised with the academic activities, co curricular activities, assessment scheme, school rules and school portal usage in detail.
A brief session was conducted by the school counsellor for the parents to understand the growth of their children and their sense of independence. An introduction to "School Cinema" was given to the parents to help them relate with the changes being experienced by the teenage children. They were also briefed about the Devyani Jaipuria Tennis Academy and the upcoming Indiation workshop based on the development of essential soft skills, national awareness and responsibility. The session ended with words of gratitude for parents and for all the team members who made this programme successful.
