A spectacular launch of sporting excellence
in a grand spectacle of talent, passion, and sportsmanship, Delhi Public School,jaipur in collaboration with Dharav High School,Jaipur hosted the much-awaited launch of the Devyani Jaipuria Sports Academy on October 7, 2023.
The event was nothing short of a blockbuster - a perfect blend of elegance and exuberance.
The event was graced by a constellation of dignitaries, including the legendary sports maestro, Mr. Shikhar Dhawan, the dynamic and inspiring ,Pro-Vice Chairperson of DPS Jaipur,Ms. Devyani Jaipuria, our mentor and School Director, Ms Aditi Misra, Col Deepak Sehgal, Vice President, Operations and Administration of the education vertical of the group. These luminaries, along with the Principals of Dharav High School Jaipur, Ms. Seema Sehajpal, and Delhi Public School Jaipur, Dr. Richa Prakash Ghosh, added an aura to the occasion.
With the stadium buzzing with excitement, the event commenced with emphasizing the importance of determination and perseverance in achieving success. The theme, 'Aarambh hai prachand ye ja ke aasman main tum dahaad do' echoed throughout the event, setting the tone for what lay ahead.
The evening embarked with a mesmerizing lamp lighting ceremony, symbolizing the ignition of dreams and hopes. The school choir welcomed the guests with a soul-stirring song, 'Padharo Mhare Des,'. Thereafter, a captivating live performance by the school band, the Octaves, along with a mesmerizing fusion of yoga and taekwondo left the audience spellbound.
The launch of DJSA, symbolized by the ceremonial exchange of souvenirs between Ms. Devyani Jaipuria and Mr. Shikhar Dhawan, was a moment of immense pride and promise. Mr. Shikhar Dhawan's speech resonated with the audience, emphasizing resilience and the determination to face challenges head-on.
The evening culminated with a heartwarming performance of Rajasthani folk dances and leaving everyone enchanted. The grand finale was a show to remember, leaving everyone tapping their feet in delight.
