Unity in diversity is the strength of India. To celebrate this spirit of incredible India and reiterate the values of fraternity, acceptance and tolerance, the students of classes III-V celebrated States' Day in their classes on Saturday, September 2, 2023.
The exhibition was inaugurated by school Principal, Dr Richa Prakash in the presence of parents and faculty members. The students greeted and gave a traditional welcome to Principal ma'am, parents, and other guests.
Each class was assigned a state and with the help of the mentors, the students decorated their classes and gave a presentation highlighting all the aspects of that state- its geographical features, festivals, customs and traditions, cuisines, dances, songs, state symbols, interesting facts and places of tourist interest. A walk through the classes presented glimpses of a mini-India in school.
The parents and all the faculty members appreciated the efforts of the students.
The Bagless Day, celebrated as States' Day, as envisaged in the NEP turned out to be a day full of learning and exploration for the students.
