*"The most important thing in science is not so much to obtain new facts as to find new ways of thinking about them. "*
On the second day of IMAGICA, Principal Dr. Richa Prakash demonstrated a wonderful experiment of a volcanic eruption to the students of Grade I and II.
As part of the science activities, our dedicated team of teachers created a captivating and enriching learning experience for our students.
They enjoyed various activities such as operating a hovercraft, reflection and refraction of light, twinkling stars, straw flute, and capillary action through chromatography. They learnt the science and concepts behind these experiments. To expand the students' scientific knowledge, they were also shown some experiments on the density of water, concepts of fire extinguishers, etc.
The students were spellbound and understood well that there is science behind all the magic.
The day ended with the thought that science is a wonderful gift to humanity, and therefore, we should not distort it. It was a day full of fun-based learning experiences.
