Delhi Public School, Jaipur celebrated the potential of its young leaders for today and tomorrow through the Scholar Badge ceremony for grade X (2022-23), followed by the Investiture Ceremony of grade XI. The parents, students and teachers were welcomed by the School Headboy, Ayushman Singh.
During the event, 44 meritorious students were awarded with Scholar Badges. The deserving students who achieved more than 80% aggregate in their class X board exams were felicitated with badges and certificates of merit. Additionally, subject toppers received certificates in recognition of their outstanding performance. Further acknowledging their consistent academic excellence, students were awarded the prestigious Blue Coat, Blue Badge and Blue Ties.
With these acknowledgments, the Scholar Badge ceremony concluded, making way for the momentous Investiture Ceremony of grade XI. The newly appointed Vice Student Council members proudly marched to the rhythmic beats of the drums to receive their sashes.
The Investiture Ceremony entailed the appointment of new student leaders entrusted with specific responsibilities to guide and represent their peers throughout the academic year. The School Vice Council headed by the Vice Head Boy Medhansh Dutt , Vice Head Girl Karishma Lamba and Vice President, Avlokit Singh took the oath administered by the Principal Dr. Richa Prakash Ghosh. They solemnly pledged to carry out their duties with determination and integrity.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Dr. Richa Prakash Ghosh enlightened them about the true essence of leadership and its significance. She emphasized that leadership comes with responsibility towards oneself, the school, and fellow students, motivating them to uphold the glory of their positions.
The ceremony reached its heartfelt closure with the vote of thanks delivered by the newly appointed Vice Head Boy and Vice Head Girl.
