“Children must be taught how to think and not what to think.”
“The goal of early childhood education should be to activate the child’s own natural desire to learn.”
Maria Montessori introduced a "NEW EDUCATION" where all the areas of personality of a child are developed, thus enabling a child to develop a unified personality. It encourages child-centered learning and children naturally learn self-discipline as the classroom environment teaches order and children can unleash their creativity and focus fully on the learning process. The first step in Montessori education is the introduction of practical life activities. These activities bring children close to the environment and help develop their fine motor skills, eye-hand coordination, and concentration through order. This method of Montessori teaching is implemented at DPS, Jaipur and the learning by doing experience it provides ensures that our children become life long learners.
