A Chronicle of the Alumni Meet at DPS, Jaipur
The Multi-Purpose Hall of Delhi Public School, Jaipur witnessed the coming of the illustrious alumni of the school on 22 December, 2023. The Alumni Meet was a nostalgic reunion of the students from diverse batches. It was held in a vibrant atmosphere in which alumni reminisced about their school days. The old students were welcomed by the first teacher of the school, Ms Ritu Jhunjhunwala.
The event started with a short remembrance by Ms Vibhuti Chauhan of those alumni who left the world for their heavenly abode. Former students engaged in heartfelt conversations, exchanging career experiences and life updates. The joyous ambience resonated with laughter and camaraderie, echoing the spirit of DPS, Jaipur. The musical presentation by a group of alumni was commendable. The enthusiastic participation of the alumni in the one-minute games showed their sporting spirit. were organized for them. The event effectively fostered a sense of community, bridging the gap between past and present. The festivities reached their peak with music and a delightful dinner, nurturing connections and creating lasting memories.
Alumni Akshita Mehta, Akash Godara, Bhanu Pratap and Utkarsh Sharma conveyed their heartfelt gratitude to the teachers for contributing immensely to their careers. The Principal, Dr. Richa Prakash Ghosh appreciated and motivated the young professionals to live up to the motto of the school ‘Service Before Self’ and spread empathy and positivity in the society. The event was successfully organized by the efforts of Jahnvi Srivastava (Alumna of batch 2014-15), Mr. Faisal Khan - Dean Student Welfare and Ms Anjana Swami, Senior HM.
