The prestigious VIIIth DPS CUP Inter School Cub Cricket T-10 Tournament 2023-24 was organised at DPS, Jaipur from December 5-8, 2023.
Around a hundred budding cricketers from 8 renowned schools of Jaipur participated and gave their best shot to bag the coveted trophy for their school.
The opening ceremony of the 4-day tournament began with the flag hoisting by Principal Delhi Public School, Jaipur, Dr Richa Prakash Ghosh. The players were administered the oath by the captain of the Delhi Public School, Jaipur team, Pratyush Sharma.
The tournament showcased young talent and enthusiasm, fostering camaraderie among students. With fervent competitiveness, the teams displayed remarkable sportsmanship and skills, creating an electrifying atmosphere on the field. From breathtaking catches to powerful shots, each match was a spectacle. The tournament promoted teamwork, discipline, and fair play, reflecting the essence of the sport. Students embraced victories humbly and faced losses graciously, celebrating the spirit of participation. Encouraging cheers from peers echoed across the grounds, creating a vibrant and memorable event.
The final match was played between the teams of Jayshree Periwal International School, Mahapura and Subodh Public school, Rambagh in which Jayshree Periwal International School, Mahapura emerged as the winner.
