Art Integration is an important tenet of the NEP 2020 and by integrating art into the curriculum, teachers can provide students with a more holistic and engaging learning experience.
Three teachers - Ms Aarti Verma, Ms Devika Kapila and Ms Anjali from DPS, Jaipur attended 'Learning Art and Learning through Art' Session which was organized by Oxford University Press India and Faber- Castell on Saturday, September 16, 2023.
The resource person Ms Anahita Lee introduced the attendees which were from schools across the city to the concept of Art Integration.
The teachers learned the strategies of art integration into the curriculum to make their lessons more interesting and engaging for the learners. They also gained insights about the nuances of art that can be incorporated in classroom teaching to make the learning process experiential and joyful for the students.
