Spring symbolizes the renewal of hopes and aspirations. Basant Panchami is a special occasion to get together and celebrate the onset of the spring season when the landscape takes a new turn. The plants are in full bloom and the beautiful sight of gardens laden with flowers makes all of us wonder at the marvels of mother nature.

The students of Nursery to V at Delhi Public School, Jaipur celebrated the festival of Basant Panchami with great excitement in the virtual class assemblies.

The students recited prayers and shlokas, sang beautiful poems which were dedicated to goddess Saraswati and the season of spring. Through a 'Show and Tell' activity, the students shared their knowledge about the different elements of the spring season like flowers, bees, and the bright and sunny days. Their exhilarating performances were captivating to the core.

Principal Rita P. Taneja lauded the children for their excellent efforts and urged the students to seek knowledge and wisdom by following a disciplined lifestyle and by giving the best in everything.
