Mathopolis an Inter house Math Quiz for classes 6 to 8 was organized by Ankur Kapoor, Devesh Kanwar and Shweta Mathur from Math department of Delhi Public School, Jaipur. Three students from each house of each class were selected on the basis of preliminary round conducted. The quiz had a total of 6 rounds consisting of Mathematician, Story round, Foreign exchange, Mental Math, Magic Square and Rapid Fire. The six houses were named after the polygons like team triangle, team quadrilateral and so on. The questions were shown on ppt with a lot of animation . To keep the audience involved and up on their feet every round had an audience round too. The compering was done by Jiya Rao of Class 8 and the Quiz was conducted by Priyanshu of class 11.The jury members were Mr AK Sharma (HOD Math), Mr Ram Keswani, Mr D Lazer. There was a tie between three houses and after a tie breaker round Raavi house was the winner and Jhelum and Satluj were runners up. Mr AK Sharma announced the winner and Principal Ms Rita P Taneja motivated the participants and the organisers with her inspiring words. The vote of thanks was given by Anwita Gupta of class VIII.
