DPS, Jaipur hosted its first ever virtual ‘Taal, Tarang, Tasveer & Technology’ T4 event.
‘The power of art can break the shackles that bind and divide human beings.’ Delhi Public School, Jaipur hosted its first ever virtual ‘Taal, Tarang, Tasveer & Technology’ event on June 9,2021 ,to commemorate the 4 leading pillars of Performing & Visual Arts-Music, Art, Dance & Technology because at DPS, Jaipur we believe that Performing & Visual Arts encourage students to explore their emotions, expanding their imagination and helping them develop their own unique voice, finding joy in self-expression. The event started by reciting the auspicious Ganesh Shlok followed by a motivating welcome speech by the Principal, Ms. Rita Taneja. She emphasised on development of life skills amongst children for their holistic development .She said that education cannot be complete without the integration of scholastic and co-scholastic activities and the schools will have to equip and empower students with life skills like -critical thinking, effective communication,decision making ,interpersonal skills to help coping with stress and managing emotions and all of which can be inculcated in the informal class settings of art, music, theatre, sports, yoga and other extra co curricular activities. She encouraged students to be a willing part of school programmes as such events are mind fully designed to provide an exposure to a wide spectrum of life skills and enrich their experiences of student life. The event witnessed some stupendous performances by the Art, Dance and Music and IT departments of the school in which students participated enthusiastically from all classes and sections. The event also included live musical performances by the students with various musical instruments like piano and guitar which received maximum applause by the audience in terms of emerging emojis on the screen and later became the highlight of the entire show.
