Literary Club of Delhi Public School, Jaipur organised the second virtual session for the students to enhance the art of Creative Writing Skills on 12 May 2021. Mr Sandeep Sethi, an eminent educationist, graced the session as the Resource Person.

During the highly interactive session, Sandeep sir shared with the students about creative writing being an art of skilled writing, either fictional or non-fictional, which displays the writer’s imagination and original ideas. It is a manifestation of one’s thought process and ideation, and successful conversion of stringing those ideas into words. The students, in the previous session, were asked to read any story or novel of their choice and then write a book review to present in the next session. The students enthusiastically narrated their book reviews and enriched themselves by exchanging plethora of ideas and gained knowledge about different genres.

The Principal, Ms Rita P Taneja applauded the presentations of the students and encouraged them by sharing various tips on creative writing, which the students noted down diligently. Rita Ma’am thanked Sandeep sir for sparing his valuable time, sharing his valuable ideas and guidance.

The students enjoyed the thought provoking, interactive and engaging session and are looking for more such sessions.
