72nd Republic Day celebration
Delhi Public School, Jaipur celebrated the 72nd Republic Day in all its solemnity with a sense of pride and patriotism. The Principal, Ms Rita Taneja, the Chief Guest, Mr. Gopal Saini and the Vice Principal, Mr. Ravi Dutt graced the occasion with their benign presence. The day began with the unfurling of the Indian flag by the Principal followed by the National Anthem. In her address, the Principal, Ms Rita Taneja threw light on the sanctity of the occasion and the various tasks to be undertaken by the students as the future citizens of the country. An inspirational song by the teachers kindled every heart with a strong sense of patriotism. Awards were given to the achievers. The Chief Guest addressed the gathering in which he highlighted the importance of sports and discipline for a successful life. The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks by the Vice Principal, Mr. Ravi Dutt. The audience went back home carrying the patriotic fervour in their heart.
