Awareness about child safety is an integral part of school curriculum. To ensure safety, it is very important to make children aware of the safe and unsafe touch. Every child needs to know the difference between the good touch and the bad touch and what they should do if they face abuse of any kind.
Keeping this in mind DPS, Jaipur organized an online Session on ‘Good Touch/ Bad Touch’ for the students of Nursery – II.
An interactive session was conducted by the class teachers through the medium of power point presentation, videos and later activity handout was given to the children which they did at home with the help of their parent. Children were introduced to the activity called ‘People in my safe circle’.
The purpose of this safe circle activity was to help the children identify people they can trust, feel safe and share their feelings to be included in their safe circle.
After the activity children shared their views on the topic through their video presentations.
