Student Exchange Programme with a French Delegation was organized from 1 March 2020 to 6 March 2020.
Delhi Public School, Jaipur has always worked towards providing the best possible exposure to the students and has been organizing Students Exchange Programmes which are beneficial to the students for their overall growth. These programmes hone their social and inter- personal skills leading them to be socially aware global citizens.
One such Student Exchange Programme with a French Delegation was organized from 1 March 2020 to 6 March 2020.
This Exchange was organised as part of the ISA Project - Our School Lives.
It has been a truly enriching experience which emphasised the idea of 'learning beyond boundaries'.
Seven French Delegates were hosted by our seven Dipsites who have left no stone unturned in keeping the Delegation upbeat through out. Our Dipsites have been their enthusiastic guides when they apprised the Delegates with the rich cultural heritage of our Pink City on a city tour.The Delegation was given a hands on experience of everything the city provides be it our local delicacies or regional cuisine at Chokhi Dhani or shopping in the walled city.
Special assembly was organised at school for them where the Delegates too performed the dance form 'ghoomer'. It was extremely mesmerizing to see them dancing with poise and grace.
A Yoga session, recreational races and Badminton Matches gave them a glimpse of the school life at Delhi Public School, Jaipur and they were very impressed with the care attention they got here at DPS. They also enjoyed the Art Class where they tried some painting and sketching with their Host students.The Delegates were intrigued and interested when they were given a chance to hone their research skills in the science laboratory of the school.
