In yet another endeavour to inculcate a sense of responsibility and commitment among the students with their heads held high, ready to shoulder responsibilities as leaders, Delhi Public School, Jaipur organized the first ever Virtual Investiture Ceremony.

A spirit of dynamism filled the air as the Grand Ceremony commenced with the soulful rendition of the Ganesh Vandana. The Investiture Ceremony is a solemn occasion wherein the newly elected members of students’ council pledge to work earnestly and uphold the honour and glory of the institution. The oath was administered by the principal, Ms. Rita P. Taneja.

The Head Boy Satvik Garg, the Head Girl, Kunjal Jain, Sports Captains and House Captains , Cultural Captians stood tall as destiny prepared itself to bring in many more laurels to the institution. It was a proud moment for all the parents to witness their children being invested with great responsibilities while embarking on a new journey as leaders.

The highly inspirational and spell-binding speech by the the Director of the school Ms. Aditi Misra fuelled and ignited the spirits of the council members and motivated them to take up the charge and fulfill their duties to the best of their abilitiy.

The Principal motivated the students to keep moving forward despite all the obstacles and challenges that life throws at them. She reminded them that with position comes responsibility towards themselves, their school and peers. She advised them to be role models and keep up the glory of the positions entrusted upon them. The ceremony came to a closure with the vote of thanks extended by the newly elected Head Boy Satvik Garg and Head Girl Kunjal Jain. The function concluded with the National Anthem.
