A leader is the one who knows the way, shows the way and goes the way!

The students of Grade V of DPS, Jaipur got all decked up as the great leaders of India and participated in a Virtual Role-Play Competition on Thursday, September 17, 2020.

Their histrionics as they enacted out the roles of revolutionary freedom fighters, social reformers and political leaders were captivating and kept the audiences glued to their screens.

The objective of this activity was to make the students familiar with the real heroes of India and the values and ideals that they stood for.

The students did complete justice to the roles they played through their extensive research and presented themselves wonderfully well in the look of the leader they played. The dialogues were crisp and the props and make-up took the performances to an altogether another level.

The eminent Judges of the competition and the Vice Principal Mr Ravi Dutt lauded the students for their superlative performances.

Principal Ms Rita P Taneja appreciated the efforts of the students and their mentors for a well- conducted programme.

She also thanked the parents for their contribution in preparing the children so well for their roles.

She laid stress on the fact that such experiential and art-integrated learning activities are essential for the holistic development of the students.
