History Festival

The students of Delhi Public School Jaipur enthusiastically participated in the History Festival organised at the City Palace. The story of the growth of metallurgy in India was depicted in the Phad painting made by the students of DPS Jaipur. A harmonious show of symphony and rhythm was also presented to make people understand the concept of the Phad painting. 

Additionally, a manual on Blue Pottery, prepared by the students of the school was also showcased at the festival. 

To promote awareness about financial literacy among students, 10 graphic novels were prepared. Seven graphic novels covering different topics of Science, Social Science, Math, Psychology and Hindi were prepared and presented at the History Festival. Audiobooks were prepared on all these 17 novels. 

During the Festival, ‘Plastik’ a graphic novel written by the students of the school- Anay Saxena of Grade VII, Radhika Soni and Divya Soni of Grade XI was launched by Ms Gaurvi Kumari - the General Secretary of the Princess Diya Kumari Foundation.

DPS, Jaipur was awarded with the third prize by the organisation and the First prize for participating in the Math competition.

Besides this, the students of Fine Arts department displayed their talent by making live painting and doing the block printing work in the historical premises of the City Palace.
