The coveted VII DPS CUP Inter School Cub Cricket T-10 Tournament 2022-23 began at DPS, Jaipur today with a grand opening ceremony which was attended by the senior leadership team, students and teachers of the Primary school.

The opening ceremony of the 4-day tournament began with the flag hoisting by Principal DPS Jaipur, Ms Rita P Taneja. The players were administered the oath by the captain of the DPS, Jaipur team, Samast Chawla. The melodious song presented by the junior choir motivated the players and set the mood for the game to begin.

The opening match was played between St. Xavier’s School, Nevta and Neerja Modi School, Mansarovar. NMS won the toss and decided to bat first. Team NMS won the match by 23 runs with Arsh Dutt of NMS declared as the player of the match. More than two hundred budding cricketers from 12 renowned schools of Jaipur will be participating in the four day tournament and will be sweating it out to bag the trophy for their school.
