National Unity Day, or Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, is celebrated on October 31st every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the first Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister of independent India. This day reaffirms the inherent strength and resilience of our people to withstand threats to the security, unity and integrity of the country.

To mark the occasion in a befitting manner, the students of the Primary wing at Delhi Public School organized a special assembly.

The enthusiastic students presented the thought of the day, an inspiring speech, quotes and a poem on the life and contributions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel to the nation. The students were also administered the ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’ pledge. 

After the assembly, the students participated in a 'Unity Run’ with full zeal and enthusiasm and paid their tribute to the Iron Man of India.
