Students of Grade 4C presented an assembly on the theme ‘Diwali’ while emphasizing on the value ‘Remove Darkness, Spread Light”.
Students spread a strong message through a street play on ‘Say No to Crackers’. They also reiterated that the best way to celebrate something is to light a candle in the darkest moments of someone’s life.
The dance performance and ‘chaupaiyaan’ left all the audience spell bound. The scientific reasons behind the traditions of cleaning and whitewashing homes and workplace, using clay lamps were also emphasized upon.
Principal, Ms Rita P Taneja appreciated the efforts of all participants and wished everyone ‘A Safe and Green Diwali’.
