Pre-writing skills help children build finger strength, eye-hand coordination, wrist movement and grip strength.'Tie and Dye' techniques help children develop their creative skills and introduces them to the world of arts and colours. To develop these skills, Delhi Public School, Jaipur organized the activity - 'Curves and Strokes' for classes Pre-nursery -II and 'Tie and Dye activity,' - for the students of classes I and II.

The tiny tots of Pre-nursery, Nursery and Prep actively showcased their creativity on worksheets with different colours and techniques. Guided by their educators, the students used paint brushes, earbuds, colourful threads and proudly displayed the artwork done by their little hands.

The students of classes I and II saw a presentation on

'Tie and Dye' art form. They were mesmerized to see the 'Bandhani' and 'Lahariya' printed textiles specially brought to class by their educators for this special activity. Guided and supervised by their educators, the children tied the handkerchiefs with threads and then dipped those in bowls filled with vibrant colours. The beautiful patterns thus created left everyone in awe. The students thoroughly enjoyed both the fun-filled learning engagements.
