Investiture Ceremony
In an endeavour to inculcate a sense of responsibility and commitment in the student council, Delhi Public School, Jaipur organized the Investiture Ceremony on 25 April 2022.
The Investiture Ceremony is a solemn occasion wherein the newly appointed members of students’ council pledge to work earnestly and uphold the honour and glory of the institution.
A spirit of dynamism filled the air as the Grand Ceremony commenced with the lighting of the auspicious lamp and the soulful rendition of the Ganesh Stuti followed by the Ganesh Vandana in Kathak form.
The Head Boy Prajval Verma the Head Girl Akshita Saxena,the President Priyanshu Sports Captains ,House Captains , Cultural Captians and the heads of various clubs stood tall as destiny prepared itself to bring in many more laurels to the institution.The oath was administered by the principal, Ms. Rita P. Taneja.
It was a proud moment for all the parents to witness their children being invested with great responsibilities while embarking on a new journey as leaders.
The Principal motivated the students to keep moving forward despite all the obstacles and challenges that life throws at them. She reminded them that with position comes responsibility towards themselves, their school and peers. She advised them to be role models and keep up the glory of the positions entrusted upon them.
The ceremony came to a closure with the vote of thanks extended by the newly appointed Head Boy Prajval Verma and Head Girl Akshita Saxena.
The function concluded with the National Anthem.
