Storytelling is a universal and traditional art form that can be used as a medium to ingrain values, improve language skills and open the minds of children to worlds beyond imagination.
Using a puppet to tell a story is a wonderful technique that can be used “anywhere and anytime” to bring stories to life and to spark young children's imaginations.
Keeping in mind the great impact stories have on children,
a Storytelling session using Puppets was conducted for the students of Classes Pre-Nursery to II.
It was a great learning experience and a visual treat to the children as their Class Teachers presented stories in spectacular ways using finger puppets, hand puppets, sock puppets and stick puppets and held children’s interest from beginning till the end.
The students participated whole heartedly and enthusiastically. They not only enjoyed the story session but also enjoyed making beautiful and attractive animal puppets.
Altogether, it was a very effective and amusing session for the little ones.
