Quiz contests are a great way of analysing how well one understands a subject and correlates the theoretical knowledge with its practical application in real life. 

It encourages students to stretch their knowledge horizons and look beyond what they are taught in class.

To promote and encourage a fun way of learning among students, Delhi Public School, Jaipur organized a maths quiz for students of grade V. The quiz was conducted virtually in a 1-hour special event where a team of 3 students from each team Euclid, Pythagoras, Aryabhata, and Ramanujan participated with full excitement and vitality.

The students competed in three rounds- Numbers and Numeration Round, Visual Round, and Rapid Fire Round. It was the Rapid Fire Round that turned the tables and the score tally.

Ms. Rita P Taneja, Principal DPS, Jaipur declared the result and congratulated The Department of Mathematics for putting up an excellent show.

The objective of conducting this quiz competition was to enable students to think out of the box, promote team play, map growth levels in the particular subject, improving their knowledge, and learning from their counterparts, besides building a competitive spirit among the teams.
